About Vadodara Rashtriya Natya Mahotsav NATIONAL THEATRE FESTIVAL

Building on the resounding success of its previous edition, Vadodara Rashtriya Natya Mahotsav 2026 returns as a distinguished celebration of Indian theatre, bringing together the richness of traditional storytelling and the innovation of contemporary stagecraft. Hosted by Parul University, a NAAC A++ accredited institution known for its commitment to academic innovation and cultural advancement, the festival continues to serve as a vibrant platform for theatre practitioners, performers, and enthusiasts from across Gujarat and India, fostering artistic excellence and meaningful cultural exchange.

The 2025 edition witnessed an overwhelming response from audiences and featured acclaimed theatrical productions such as Ek Mulaqat, Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai, Massage, and Chanakya. The festival was further elevated by the presence of renowned theatre and film personalities, including Rakesh Bedi, Manoj Joshi, Himani Shivpuri, and Rajendra Gupta, whose performances and interactions made the event a memorable cultural experience.

Scheduled to take place from 23rd to 27th August 2026 at the beautiful campus of Parul University, Vadodara, the second edition brings together evenings of exceptional theatre, curated to showcase the depth, diversity, and enduring relevance of Indian storytelling. Each performance offers audiences an immersive experience into the world of drama and live performance, featuring some of the most distinguished names in Indian theatre.
